A man who took on the challenge of eating only Subway for a month has revealed some unexpected transformations to his body.
A foot-long sandwich can be a great midday meal, but having it every single day might get monotonous. There’s also the question of what consuming such packed sandwiches regularly might do to your health over time.
Nonetheless, Frian Frias from Canada committed to a diet of solely Subway menu items for 30 days, and the outcome is quite surprising.

Those familiar with Subway know there are more options to explore beyond their renowned sandwiches.
Frian occasionally indulged in cookies and chips, but since the goal of his challenge was weight loss, he made an effort to limit those treats.
His main objective was to shed a stone, so he restricted himself to one meal a day, which was the Subway meal.
The cookies and crisps served as an afternoon snack, while more often than not, he chose a foot-long veggie sandwich and a small potato bun for his main meal.
On this diet, Frian was consuming approximately 670 calories daily, which is about one-fourth of the 2,500 calories typically recommended for an average male.
As he primarily chose healthier sandwiches and steered clear of meat, he managed to lose over a stone (15 pounds, 8kg) within the month.
By the end of the challenge, Frian’s weight was 12st 11Ibs.
His choice of bread was a significant factor in his weight loss, as he explained: “The 9 grain wheat and the flatbread are made from whole grains, they have complex carbohydrates in them.”
Considering he ate Subway so frequently over this short period, one might expect Frian to be tired of it, but surprisingly, he’s not.
“I’m still going to have Subway on a regular basis after this, I’m just going to take a little bit of a break,” he mentioned.
Probably a sensible decision.
