A globetrotting YouTuber who has stepped foot in every country on Earth has finally chosen a place to call home after completing his epic journey. With over four million followers hanging on his every adventure, Drew Binsky, an Arizona native, has become the ultimate travel guru. Now that he has experienced every culture, met people from all corners of the globe, and tasted every type of cuisine the world has to offer, Drew has decided on his new home base.
Not every place Drew visited made him feel at home, with certain experiences standing out as particularly challenging. For instance, his travels to Venezuela were complicated by political tensions and sanctions, making it tough for Americans to visit. “I ended up getting the visa from the Venezuelan embassy but they were difficult because of the sanctions and political tensions between the US and Venezuela, but I was able to get one last minute,” Drew shared.
In addition to his South American challenges, Drew also recounted difficulties in some Eastern European countries that weren’t as welcoming to tourists. “I really liked those places, but they can be pretty cold when it comes to welcoming people,” he said. He recalled a particularly trying time in Bulgaria. “I had some issues with people being super weird. I also got scammed by a taxi driver trying to get to my hotel, [they] tried to charge me ten times the price and [they] rigged the metre on the taxi. That was a tricky one.”
Yet, despite these hardships, Drew has amassed countless unforgettable experiences that he cherishes. So, where does a man who has seen it all decide to settle down?
Drew said, “My wife and I are planning to move to Dubai because it’s just a really big place in the world. We really liked the culture out there, so Dubai would be the place where we would go.” While Dubai is set to be his home, it’s not his top pick for the most incredible country he’s visited. When asked about his favorite, Drew didn’t hesitate: “I would say the Philippines. I think it’s the most beautiful country in the world, super safe and full of nice people. It’s like everything you could want in one country.”
Although he’s planning to settle in Dubai, it seems Drew’s adventures are far from over, promising more travel tales are yet to come.
