Mark Zuckerberg Little League Baseball Card Sells for $120K

Some people consider Mark Zuckerberg’s Little League “career” quite valuable because a baseball card from his younger days went for six figures at an auction!

The head of Facebook’s autographed Little League card from his youth brought in $120,750 during a competitive, five-day auction.

The offer was set at $1 by the staff at ComicConnect.com. Many people were interested in the card, as seen by the ultimate auction price.

The unidentified bidder informed the auction company that the Mark Zuckerberg card would be added to a collection that already included rookie cards for Babe Ruth and Mickey Mantle, two MLB icons, and an Action Comics #1. They consider Zuckerberg “the Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle and Superman of social media rolled up into one.”

The 1992 autographed card, also offered for sale as an NFT, sold for $1,345.

Mark Zuckerberg signed the card when he was 8 years old; it belonged to Allie Tarantino, a former camp counselor of Mark’s. Allie claims that he sold the card to raise money for his children’s education expenses.

Last month, Mark even made a social media post on the card, sparking rumors that he could try to take it for himself. Although the buyer is unknown, Zuck doesn’t currently own any Babe and Mantle cards. Evidently, someone else got it.

Here are some intriguing data in addition to the $120k sale price. In his 1992 Little League season, Zuck had a.920 batting average, 23 hits, and one home run.
