Camila Alves McConaughey is recuperating after a bad fall.
On November 10, the Brazilian-American model, who is married to Matthew McConaughey, announced on Instagram that she had hurt her neck by posting a photo of herself in a brace with a cautionary statement.
“Sh** happens,” she wrote. “I am ok but… Don’t fall people…don’t fall…”
Camila Alves McConaughey advised her followers to hold up their long skirts and loose slacks when descending stairs to avoid a neck injury like hers.
She described what happened to her, saying, “Wind blew my midair, pant fabric twisted around my shoe, and to the floor I slid.”
“A silly fall, turned into not so silly neck situation,” she continued. “Recovery time ahead…”
Camila Alves McConaughey, 40, and Matthew McConaughey, 53, married in 2012 and have three children: Levi, 14, Vida, 12, and Livingston, 9.
Camila Alves McConaughey said in 2021 that raising their children together has been “wonderful,” and that they are continuously trying to “find ways to make special events and unique celebrations with one other.”
She also commented Matthew McConaughey parenting style, saying that he’s “very disciplined and very hands-on” and how that relates into his work ethic.
“He is chill and laid back, but he’s also, he has a very disciplined mentality, right?” she said. “Like, that’s how he’s been able to do the work he’s done and accomplish what he does.”
