Megyn Kelly has ripped into Kim Kardashian and Kanye West over their parenting of North West.
The conservative commentator, 54, unloaded on the exes during her SiriusXM podcast Tuesday after the 13-year-old landed the cover of Dazed magazine sporting a grill, blue hair and facial piercings. Kelly noted that North was born in June 2013, just weeks before her own son Thatcher arrived in July of that same year.
“Does North West have good parents? Because she is on the cover of this British quarterly magazine right now with false teeth, like a grill situation, blue hair, all these facial piercings,” Kelly questioned on her eponymous podcast Tuesday.
“Look at this,” she said in disbelief as the cover flashed on screen. “She is almost exactly the same age as my [son] Thatcher, who was born in July in 2013. [North] was born June of 2013.”
Kelly continued, “I know this age very, very well. He is a sweet little boy. This girl — I mean, would you look at this?”
The journalist noted that North is launching an album and has already performed at concerts. “They are rushing to try to make her a star without, it doesn’t appear, any reflection of the significant downside of putting your child on camera for her childhood,” she claimed of Kanye and Kardashian.
The former Fox News host’s broadside lands amid a flurry of headlines around the teenager’s burgeoning public profile. North recently canceled a 14-date tour with rapper Molly Santana just days before its scheduled kickoff, though no reason was given for the abrupt pullout. She has also told interviewers she wants what she calls a “regular job” at a major retail chain and has expressed interest in more extreme piercings, claiming she is “not allowed” to get them.
In the viral moment that sparked prior backlash, North debuted controversial finger piercings in September 2025. After a TikTok user posted a video saying Kardashian’s eldest daughter “getting a finger piercing is breaking [her] heart,” the Skims founder responded in the comments section, simply writing, “it’s okay 🫶.”
One month later, Kardashian argued that her daughter’s fake face tattoos and piercings were a “non-issue.”
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” alum also addressed critics of her daughter’s personal style in an interview with Alex Cooper of “Call Her Daddy” last October.
“It’s really hard and it’s really interesting because all the kids are wearing the same things … But then my daughter tries to wear it and then I’m like, ‘okay, we’re never wearing that again,'” she said.
“Unfortunately, we made that mistake in front of the whole world.”
Kardashian and West, who split in 2021, have not publicly responded to Kelly’s latest criticism.
