A range of food products sold at Walmart, Target, and Aldi have been pulled back from consumers after the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) raised concerns about potential salmonella contamination.
The FDA, working alongside the US Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), recently announced a recall connected to powdered milk produced and distributed by California Dairies.
In a statement published on April 30, officials warned the product may be contaminated with salmonella. As part of that action, numerous pizzas sold in Aldi locations nationwide were included in the recall.
Since then, the list of affected items has grown, with additional products sold at Walmart and Aldi now being named.
Jonco Industries, which produces popcorn items, has recalled multiple products featuring white cheddar seasoning. Separately, JCB Flavors also issued a recall involving one of its popcorn seasonings.

Earlier this month, John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc., a company known for nut products, also recalled several items sold under a range of brand names.

Poor King is another company appearing in the latest recall notices, with the food business confirming the impacted products late last month.

To round out the list, two Great Value frozen pizzas sold at Walmart stores nationwide have also been added to the recall.
Those products are the Great Value Thin Crust Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza and the Great Value Stuffed Crust Chicken Bacon Ranch pizza.
