‘Most tattooed woman’ flies across the world to undergo ‘highly illegal’ procedure

Australia’s so-called ‘most tattooed woman’, nicknamed ‘Dragon Girl’ by her supporters, has travelled overseas for an illicit body modification procedure.

Australian influencer Amber Luke has reportedly flown close to 10,000 miles to Barcelona, Spain, to have extreme implants fitted—work that is prohibited in Australia because of serious potential health complications.

The modification is referred to as “subdermal implants” and involves placing a silicone form or medical-grade device underneath the skin so the tissue can heal over it.

While similar techniques are common worldwide for approved medical treatments (such as contraceptive implants), access is far more limited when the aim is cosmetic or body-modification-related.

Luke has told followers she plans to have a bow-shaped silicone implant inserted beneath the skin of her left hand.

Speaking to her followers on Instagram, she said: “The end result is obviously to have a nice implant, but obviously not let it heal all f***ed up.

“That is going to be my mission while I’m in Barcelona … just healing.”

However, that implant isn’t the only procedure she intends to have during her trip.

Already heavily tattooed, Luke also plans to undergo a “coin slot” ear modification while she’s in Spain.

The technique typically involves removing a thin rectangular section of tissue from the ear and stitching the edges, leaving a permanent opening.

The end result is designed to resemble the slot found on coin-operated machines.

The star added: “I have had this plan for a while, but I am getting a coin slot in my ear.

“They take a hole out of your helix, and then they put different earrings in and layer it.”

The update follows a recent trip to Brazil, where Luke had her eyeballs tattooed—something she says left her unable to see for three weeks.

Despite the frightening experience, she later opted to continue, adding black “nebula galaxy” speckling to her eyes.

Her appearance has attracted major attention online, but the 31-year-old has said it can create real-world difficulties, especially when she’s trying to find work.

She said: “They won’t look at my work ethic, they won’t look at my morals or my values, or what I have to bring to the table.”

And it appears she’s far from done, teasing that these procedures won’t be the final modifications she shares with fans.
