Clever Orangutan Builds Herself A Comfy Hammock For Afternoon Nap

This orangutan didn’t fancy a nap on a concrete floor, so she whipped up a comfy hammock to enjoy her afternoon snooze in comfort.

14-year-old Nemo lives in a Thailand zoo and, while staying in her temporary enclosure, found a big towel she thought could be put to good use.

She monkeyed across her enclosure to tie one end of the towel to the bars.

And knotted the other end of the towel tightly.

Nemo even tested the hammock could hold her weight before climbing into her cozy new bed.

A little bit of jiggling around to find the sweet spot…

And voila! A comfy bed is a cinch for this orangutan.
