Prince Harry has been left out of King Charles’ Coronation script, with royal insiders reportedly saying Prince William is ‘burning with anger’ after the bombshell revelations from Harry’s memoirs.
In Spare, the Duke of Sussex made a series of claims about his brother and father, ranging from describing Charles as his ‘arch-nemesis’ to suggesting the King was worried about being ‘overshadowed’ by Meghan’s Hollywood star power.
The Royal Family is yet to comment on the accusations, but a royal source said Harry had been removed from the Coronation program set for May.
Harry spoke out on ITV about the guilt he experienced after the passing of his mother, the Princess of Wales, in 1997. Breaking news has now revealed that he will no longer be attending the upcoming ceremony in her honor.
‘Prince Harry has been written out of the script for the Coronation, with no official role in the service if he attends,’ the paper’s Royal Editor tweeted.
‘Breaking with tradition, Charles will scrap royal dukes kneeling and paying homage to the monarch. Only William will perform that role
‘As things stand, there is no role for Harry in the service,’ a royal source reportedly declared.’
William, the heir to the throne, has been met with a wave of emotions following Harry’s recent comments. Friends of William have expressed that he is ‘burning with anger’ but is also ‘anxious and sad’.
One friend described the situation as ‘cruel, cowardly and so sad’. Despite his inner emotions, William is said to be ‘concentrating on his wife and his children’, maintaining dignity and loyalty to his family and country.
Another friend commented that although William is ‘handling it so well on the outside’, he is ‘burning’ inside and ‘not going to roll over’.
In his book, Prince Harry opened up about his relationship with his brother Prince William, revealing a complex dynamic between the two. Harry, 38, described William, 40, as both his “beloved brother” and his “arch-nemisis”.
