Chicago high school student Shea Glover wanted to use her Integrated Arts class project to explore beauty — but she never expected her heartwarming video to go viral.
Shea asked students and teachers, both strangers and friends, to be filmed for the project. While recording she told them she was shooting “things she found beautiful.”

Being told, “you’re beautiful!” sparked a range of responses, from embarrassment…
“This is so awkward.”
… to this guy’s complete acceptance.
He knows he’s fabulous.
There was also angry disbelief.
“Clearly you’re being goofy.”
And predictably, a lot of bashful smiles.
We can feel our icy hearts warming.
As well as plain amazement.
