Humans are always doing weird and wacky things to their hair, but JMC Equestrian, based in North West England, have decided it’s time for horses to get in on the fun follicle frenzy.

This is Romeo looking very pleased with his artistic horsey hairdo.
The ‘do is so unbelievably awesome it has it’s own name: The Armour of Love.
It’s got swords, hearts and even the letters JMC hiding in the pattern.
The completely original design took several hours to complete freehand.
Romeo agreed to stand still on the condition that he was fed many, many snacks.
Romeo won’t get cold over winter though; the trim actually stops him sweating too much when he’s horsing around.
Fashionable yet functional! This horse opted for some funky stars from JMC.
While this Irish pony chose a classic four-leaf clover.
