Nicole Kidman’s stylist has revealed the hair oil behind her Emmys glow.
Lorenzo Martin, who created Kidman’s look for the 2026 Emmy Awards, used K18 Molecular Repair Hair Oil on the “Practical Magic 2” star, 58, to deliver what he described as a “luminous shine” that smoothed flyaways and made her locks red-carpet ready. Martin shared on the occasion, “Red-carpet hair should look beautiful, feel healthy, and shine from every angle!”
The silicone-free, weightless formula has become a backstage staple for its ability to tame frizz, boost color vibrancy, and create a glass-like finish without heaviness. Kidman was far from the only A-lister treated with the product before stepping into the spotlight.
Sarah Pidgeon, whose long waves complemented her Chanel gown, also had the oil worked through her hair by celebrity stylist Christian Wood. Wood said the couture piece inspired “a hair moment all about shine, health and simple elegance,” and he used the K18 oil to “add shine and keep the hair frizz-free all night.”
Olivia Munn’s soft waves for the evening came courtesy of stylist Gonn Kinoshit, who applied Molecular Repair Hair Oil to the actress’s hair while it was still wet for “nourishment and shine,” then reached for it again during and after styling to lock in the effect.
The K18 product was not the only styling aid generating buzz among glam squads. Kidman and Lisa Rinna both benefited from a lifting spray designed to tackle damage while delivering volume and bounce. AirWash, as the product is known, has found favor beyond its original purpose of refreshing day-old styles; professionals now deploy it for texture and movement on freshly styled star clients.
Quinta Brunson’s hairstylist Suzette Boozer used the protectant on the “Abbott Elementary” creator and star, 35, before putting heat to her hair.
Consumer reviews suggest the K18 oil performs across hair types. One shopper with fine, thinning hair wrote, “I have really fine, thin hair that has gone through menopause and health challenges. This oil is lightweight enough for the ends … without turning my hair greasy.”
