Born in 1976 in Armenia, Suren Manvelyan is an Armenian photographer who has been taking pictures ever since he got his first camera at the age of 16.
In this series called Animal Eyes, Suren gives us a breathtaking look into the intricately detailed eyes of many different species of animals.

Suren’s talent isn’t restricted to photography. He teaches physics, mathematics and astronomy, has a PhD in Theoretical Physics, and has won The President Award of the Republic of Armenia for research in the field of quantum technologies. He also plays five different instruments, including the guitar, cello, piano, block flute, and lyre. His main love however, has always been photography.
