Taylor Swift watches Travis Kelce’s Chiefs opener next to a Hollywood star

Taylor Swift brought Hollywood royalty to her first Chiefs game as a married woman.

Swift, 35, sat beside Tom Cruise, 63, in a star-studded suite at Arrowhead Stadium on Monday night as she watched husband Travis Kelce, 35, take the field for Kansas City’s season opener against the Denver Broncos. The pair were spotted in conversation during the ESPN “Monday Night Football” broadcast, with Swift wearing a red-checked button-up and sipping a drink while the actor looked on.

Donna Kelce, Travis’s mother, and Scott Swift, Taylor’s father, rounded out the celebrity-filled box. The gathering marked Swift’s return to the stadium where she had become a regular presence during the Chiefs’ previous championship runs, though this visit carried fresh significance following her summer wedding.

Swift and Kelce exchanged vows on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in New York City before roughly 1,000 guests. Actor Adam Sandler, a close friend of the couple, officiated the ceremony. Both bride and groom wore Christian Dior Haute Couture looks designed by creative director Jonathan Anderson. Official wedding photos and additional details have not been released.

While Swift has remained publicly silent about the nuptials, Kelce has spoken extensively about the event across multiple platforms. On his “New Heights” podcast with brother Jason Kelce, he described the evening in glowing terms and expressed gratitude toward the venue for accommodating their privacy needs.

“The night was insane. It’s a night I will never forget,” Kelce said earlier this month on the podcast. “Me and Taylor are so thankful for everybody that showed up from the vows to just seeing everyone to how much fun we had throughout the entire evening and hearing that kind of be relayed through everyone’s stories from the night. It was just so magical man, and I wish it could have lasted longer than it did. It felt like it happened in the blink of an eye.”

He continued, “Thank you to everyone at MSG that allowed us to do this. We wanted to do it somewhere where we could have a very intimate and genuine setting without a lot of distractions. We needed it to be a private feel and MSG went above and beyond to give us that and I can’t thank everybody enough that showed up but also helped put the show on. It was a very magical night.”

The couple’s relationship became public in 2023, and they announced their engagement in August 2025. Swift’s attendance at Monday’s game represented her first appearance at Arrowhead since the wedding, while Cruise’s presence added an unexpected layer of star wattage to an already high-profile evening.

The Chiefs will continue their season with upcoming home games at Arrowhead Stadium.
