This Guy Quit Crystal Meth And His Transformation In Just One Year Is Incredible

Meet Ryan Harder. He used to be a meth addict, but kicked the habit almost a year ago. He recently shared before and after photographs on Reddit, showing what a difference a year can make. This is Ryan before he quit meth, with dark sunken eyes and unhealthy skin:

And this is him a year after he quit crystal meth. Ryan is almost unrecognisable:

And it’s not just his appearance that has improved since quitting: “One of the greatest things about being clean is that I got to be sober to see my sister have her baby girl,” Ryan said.

Ryan also described how when he first started using meth he refused to believe he was addicted and thought he had “a special or unique self-control” unlike other addicts.

“I can’t even describe how badly it hurt my family. I lost almost all of my friends, but they’re slowly coming back into my life. I absolutely could not hold a job. I have like 5 felonies on my record and a ton of misdemeanor charges.”
