If you think you’ve had a rough week, starting work after the holiday break, spare a thought for this poor little raccoon. Could he be having a worse day?
“How pathetic our troubles seem in comparison to our little furry friend. As you see him, panicked, patting down on the cold stone desperately trying to search for the sweet treat that had moments ago made him so happy,” tweeter Ryan Nelson mused.
“Gone. Everything that raccoon had ever hoped for, everything he’d ever loved. Gone within approximately one and a half seconds.”
Raccoons are known for their food washing habits but researchers believe it isn’t actually for hygiene purposes. Instead it’s thought to determine what they’re about to eat, as water helps increase their nerve responsiveness on their hairless paws.
