Todd and Julie Chrisley went under the knife together for matching facelifts this July, the couple revealed on a podcast released Friday.
The reality stars, who received a full pardon from President Donald Trump and were released from prison in May 2025, sat down with Bunnie Xo for her “Dumb Blonde” podcast that dropped Friday. Todd, 56, and Julie, 52, detailed how they scheduled their cosmetic procedures simultaneously, with Julie heading into surgery first while her husband waited to see the results.

Julie underwent a lower face and neck lift plus a CO2 laser procedure, she explained on the show. She also had a lip lift, which she described as the most difficult part of her recovery. “It’s not settled in right, exactly. It was horrible,” she shared. “I like the look of it, but it was the most pain as far as recovery. I was in no pain with the facelift.”
Todd praised his wife’s stoicism throughout the process. “Julie has a high tolerance for pain; she did not complain one time,” he added on the podcast.
The “Chrisley Knows Best” star said his own experience was comparatively mild due to years of prior treatments. “I was the slave to laser. I think I’ve been fried so much, I’m kind of numb to it,” he told Bunnie Xo.
Todd was candid about his strategic reasoning for letting Julie go first. “She went in first because if he f–ked her up, I wasn’t doing it,” he said, continuing, “She’s the one who wanted to go down this road so I agreed to go with her, but I did not agree to go first.”
The couple’s decision to refresh their appearances comes as their family prepares for another major milestone. Daughter Savannah Chrisley, 27, announced earlier this week that she is expecting her first child and has been engaged to fiancé Jason Galanis for nearly a year.

Todd addressed his initial reservations about Savannah’s relationship on the same podcast episode. “He’s 20 years older, and it was not something I embraced because, I mean, to the point that I had a choice to make … It was either embrace my daughter’s decision or lose my daughter,” he explained.

The family patriarch emphasized that maintaining his bond with Savannah ultimately took priority over his concerns. “And nothing is ever coming between me and my daughter … I love Savannah with my heart and soul, but did I advocate for this? No. But I will tell you that he has treated her with the utmost of respect,” Todd continued.

The Chrisleys built their public profile through the USA Network reality series “Chrisley Knows Best,” which chronicled their affluent family life in Georgia before legal troubles derailed their television careers. Todd and Julie were convicted in 2022 of bank fraud and tax evasion, receiving combined prison sentences of 19 years before Trump’s intervention.
Their cosmetic surgery revelation marks one of their most prominent public appearances since returning home from custody. The couple that underwent facelifts together has now made the procedure a centerpiece of their reemergence in the entertainment space.

Julie’s husband had not previously detailed his own surgical work with the same specificity she offered about her lower face and neck lift, CO2 laser, and lip lift. Todd remained vague about exactly which procedures appeared on his own surgeon’s invoice, beyond acknowledging that he joined Julie after she raised the prospect.
The family’s next generation is now moving into its own spotlight, with Savannah’s pregnancy and engagement shifting attention toward her future. Her parents’ podcast appearance offered a window into both their physical transformations and their evolving family dynamics.
Savannah’s wedding plans remain unannounced, though the couple’s cosmetic refresh suggests they intend to be camera-ready for whatever ceremonies lie ahead.
