Tom Brady admits his son Jack has him beat on athleticism at 19.
The seven-time Super Bowl champion, 47, made the confession in an Instagram Story post on Saturday while celebrating his oldest son’s birthday. Brady shared a photo of Jack, who turned 19 that day, throwing down a dunk on the basketball court. Alongside the image, Brady wrote, “Don’t think I could do that at 19….”
Brady had already marked the occasion with a fuller tribute on his main Instagram feed. The post featured several photos of Jack playing basketball and carried a lengthy caption that began, “Happy 19th birthday, Jack! 🎉 Aug 22, 2007 is a day I’ll never forget, because that’s when you showed up and stole my heart (and my sleep… And my patience… Hahahaha).”
The quarterback continued, “you’re kind, thoughtful, empathetic, and full of love! And I’m so proud of who you have become. You fill my heart with so much joy and I’m blessed to be your dad. I cant wait to see what’s next.”
