During the first home game of the season for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, Tom Brady felt the support of his children cheering him on. However, their mother, Gisele Bündchen, was not with them.
While his children were present as Brady entered the field on Sunday at Raymond James Stadium in the team’s game against the Green Bay Packers, his wife, Gisele Bündchen, was noticeably absent.
The NFL legend’s 9-year-old daughter Vivian, 12-year-old son Benjamin, and 13-year-old son Jack, whom he has with his ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan, were all present.
Before the game, Brady’s kids gave him hugs and offered encouragement.
The quarterback’s mother and his sisters brought the quarterback’s children to the game.
But his wife’s disappearance occurred just a few days after it was revealed that they were having marital problems and splitting up.
The 42-year-old supermodel and the NFL player live separately while deciding what to do about their marriage.
“Gisele has been telling Tom for a while he needs to spend more time with the family and after he retired, she thought she was getting what she asked for,” the source said. “Once Tom decided to go back to the NFL she was devastated. Gisele is very hurt.”
By heading to Twitter on Sunday to support Brady as he began his 22nd NFL season, Bündchen attempted to play off the allegations of marital difficulties in early September.
