Dad Turns Baby Son Into Real-Life Leprechaun For St Patrick’s Day

The creative dad who turned his son into Elf on the Shelf last Christmas is back with more brilliant baby Photoshops, this time with a St Patrick’s Day theme.

Alan Lawrence and 6-month-old Rockwell created the photo series for the Irish national holiday, with mom making an adorable little leprechaun suit.

To celebrate the big day, Rockwell only ate green food (as he’s a bit too young for Guinness).

The naughty leprechaun even painted the whole house in his (adopted) national colors.

Before wandering off to bury his pot of gold.

Even the family dog couldn’t escape Rockwell’s cheeky hijinks (although he doesn’t seem to mind too much).

Alan creates the images by holding baby Rockwell and then editing himself out of the photo, spending hours on the editing process.

Although he admitted that finding a baby-sized orange beard was one of the bigger challenges he’s faced.

And what does Rockwell think? “He doesn’t mind the suit,” says Alan, “But [he’s] not a fan of the beard — he drools a lot and it always manages to get in his mouth.”
