This simple challenge will test your ability to perfectly recall images, so first look at this seemingly random pattern of red and blue dots.

Once you’ve got the first image memorized, look at the image below, combine them in your mind, then see if you can form a letter from the red dots.

The puzzle tests eidetic memory, or the ability to recall visual sources in great detail after only looking at them for a short time.

The ability is most common in young children, with 10% of youngsters able to remember visual information accurately. But the skill fades and is said to be nearly non-existent in adults.
