Trump gives Lauren Boebert savage new nickname in scorching Truth Social tirade

Donald Trump appears to have taken a swipe at Lauren Boebert during a fresh social media tirade aimed at the Colorado congresswoman.

Boebert has faced criticism from Trump before, particularly after she stopped lining up behind him once he entered office. But his Truth Social message on May 16 contained some of his sharpest words yet.

In the post, Trump suggested he could revoke his backing of Boebert and accused her of turning her back on MAGA, despite her long-standing association with the movement since the start of his presidential run.

Tensions seemed to escalate further after Boebert confirmed she would be campaigning alongside Kentucky Congressman Thomas Massie — a Republican who has frequently criticized Trump.

“Is anyone interested in running against Weak Minded Lauren Boebert in Colorado’s Fourth Congressional District?”

Trump followed up by revisiting her political path, pointing to her close 2022 result and her decision to switch districts — moving from Colorado’s 3rd Congressional District to the more Republican-leaning 4th.

“You remember Lauren moved to the District when it became obvious that she couldn’t win in her original Congressional District (The Third!) — A Carpetbagger, indeed!”

He also complained about her decision to support Massie, describing him as the ‘Worst “Republican” Congressman in the History of our Country’ and adding that ‘anybody who can be that dumb [to support Massie] deserves a good Primary fight!’

Trump noted that he has backed Boebert previously, but warned that if ‘the right person came along,’ he would ‘withdraw that Endorsement, and endorse a good and proper alternative.’

“Just let me know, or announce your Candidacy, and I will be there for you! President DONALD J. TRUMP.”

In separate posts afterward, Trump also went after Massie directly, branding him a ‘disloyal, ungracious, and sanctimonious FOOL’ and reiterating his intention to push him out.

Despite the public blast, Boebert quickly hit back on X, indicating she wasn’t rattled by the attack.

“Yes, I saw the President’s post. No, I’m not mad or offended. I knew the risks when I agreed to stand by my friend Thomas Massie. I was, and will be, America First, America Always, and MAGA. Onward.”

On Friday, she addressed the situation again, acknowledging that campaigning with Massie could complicate her standing with Trump.

“He’s put his life on the line to save this great country. I support both of these men. I’ve worked with both to preserve freedom and liberty. And if that makes you angry, bless your heart.”
