Brothers Jeff and Ron have been sending the same ‘Peanuts’ birthday card back and forth since 1973. That’s over 40 years! Venusreincarnate recently shared this unusual birthday tradition between her father and uncle on Reddit.

The Peanuts card features a smiling Linus on the front, declaring “This is the age of ecology!”
Inside is this simple message, which the brothers clearly took to heart: “Don’t throw this card away… recycle it to a friend! Happy birthday!” The card is signed by each brother for every year that it was sent.
Quite appropriate, really, considering the number of trees the brothers have inadvertently spared by simply reusing the card.
