At a staggering 50 meters high, the world’s tallest indoor waterfall is pretty impressive.
The gardens aim to bring nature to the heart of the bustling city, covering a whopping 250 acres of urban sprawl with exotic flowers, plants and trees.
The “mountain” is actually an enormous vertical garden, or “supertree”.
The conservatories are giant glass biomes, through which you can see Singapore’s skyscrapers.
They light it all up at night so it looks extra amazing.
The gardens are also completely sustainable, so they’re green in more ways than one.
The park was designed to be Singapore’s ultimate recreational space and a national icon.
From start to finish, the Gardens By The Bay project cost $1.035 billion. Blimey.
And to run it costs around $53 million a year.
Bonus fact alert! A mission in video game Call Of Duty: Black Ops 3 is set in the gardens.
We’re definitely adding Singapore’s Gardens By The Bay to our (ever-growing) list of places in the world we want to see.
