This is Joel Burger, who just proposed to his college sweetheart, Ashley King.
That’s right. This, my friends, is a Burger-King marriage.
The New Berlin, Illinois couple have known each other since kindergarten. They have had the nickname “Burger King” ever since a yo-yo wielding speaker at their school assembly made the connection. They were in fifth grade.
The original Burger King (the fast food company) managed to catch wind of this once-in-a-lifetime news, and decided to commemorate the event.
Mr. Burger and Ms. King? Is this real life? Please help us find this amazing couple. #BurgerKingWedding pic.twitter.com/gwhFhCMmmR

“When Burger King Corporation heard about the happy Burger-King couple, we felt an overwhelming urge to celebrate their upcoming marriage,” a spokesperson for Burger King said, “It felt like fate: They found each other and their story found us.”
After managing to find the future Mr. and Mrs. Burger King, representatives of the company spoke with the couple via Skype and told them the big news:
The company will be giving out personalized yo-yos, gift bags, mason jars, and Burger King crowns to their guests.
And while they’re at it, Burger King will just pay for the entire Burger-King wedding, too.
“All we ask in return is that they live happily ever after,” Burger King said. “And maybe name their first child Chicken Fry.”
