With hundreds of stray cats roaming the streets of Istanbul, Turkey, one mosque decided to open its doors to the homeless felines and now Muslims say their prayers beside the friendly furry guests.

Imam Mustafa Efe began welcoming the stray cats into his mosque last year.
And the cats made themselves right at home in the beautiful building.
They sit quietly during prayers.

And are totally relaxed no matter how busy the mosque gets.
