Artist Michael Pederson likes to inject a little amusement and the delight of discovery into people’s lives by leaving clever little works of art around Sydney for them to find.
Pederson began his urban mischief in 2013, and explained the idea behind his work to CityLab: “I think we travel through urban space without really seeing it most of the time. I like the idea of interfering with the overly familiar background blur … Ideally with something a passerby might see out of the corner of an eye.”
