This Rescue Goat Suffering From Anxiety Only Calms Down When She’s Wearing Her Duck Costume

This is Polly, a rescue goat who is blind, has neurological problems, and was severely underweight when she first came to the rescue center where she now lives.

Polly was very anxious and stressed when she first arrived at center Goats of Anarchy — until owner Leanne discovered the best way to make Polly feel safe was dressing her in a duck costume.

The outfit is from the kid’s section at Marshall’s and Polly loves it.

“As soon as I put it on her, she just instantly got calm,” explained Leanne.

Before she had her duck costume, Polly would panic and cry if she couldn’t fine Leanne.

“She’ll find a corner of a wall in the house, and she’ll just start sucking on the wall,” said Leanne, “All the walls in our house have these little suck marks.”

But Polly is like a new goat thanks to her (ridiculously adorable) duck costume.

“She goes into a little trance,” said Leanne, “She just closes her eyes and she’s out.”
