Why Seth Rogen Won’t Collaborate with James Franco Anymore

Seth Rogen has recently provided insight into why a collaboration between him and James Franco is unlikely in the future, addressing the actor’s comments about their ’20 great years together’.

The once-dynamic pair, Rogen, 42, and Franco, 46, have an impressive list of projects, such as the NBC classic Freaks and Geeks, The Interview, and The Pineapple Express. However, their last joint venture was the 2019 release of Zeroville.

Rogen has expressed that a professional reunion with Franco seems improbable.

Back in 2018, Franco faced allegations of inappropriate sexual conduct from several women, including four former acting students. In 2019, Sarah Tither-Kaplan and Toni Gaal filed a lawsuit against him, alleging he engaged in ‘sexually charged behaviour towards female students’ at his now-closed acting school.

Although Franco initially denied the allegations, he reportedly agreed to a $2.23 million settlement to resolve the lawsuit and have the claims dropped.

In response to these allegations, Rogen distanced himself from Franco, stating in The Sunday Times’ Culture magazine that he is strongly against abuse and harassment.
