Queen’s Corgis Sandy and Muick Wait for Coffin to Arrive at Windsor Castle

The royal corgis have been sighted at St George’s Chapel in Windsor, waiting for the procession bringing the Queen’s coffin.

Sandy and Muick were given to Queen Elizabeth II by her son, Prince Andrew.

Following the death of the Queen, the Duke and Duchess of York have taken over ownership of the corgis.

The Queen was a known fan of the breed, having owned over 30 corgis during her lifetime.

The Queen’s coffin has arrived in Windsor and is making its way down the Long Walk, which has been lined with hundreds of military officers and large crowds eager to see the Queen’s casket as it goes by.

The late monarch will be interred in a private ceremony at St George’s Chapel later this evening.
