Wild Chimps Caught On Camera Looking Both Ways Before Crossing Road

It turns out that, like us, wild chimpanzees have learned to respect the roads and protect themselves from oncoming traffic. Pretty amazing.

It’s part of a new study that adds to a growing body of research showing our closest living relatives aren’t nearly as different from us as we once imagined. Studies have shown that chimps also throw temper tantrums and even do puzzles for fun.

One thing’s for certain, these chimps could certainly show us a thing or two about safety.
