Renowned YouTuber Billy LeBlanc recently shared that he has accomplished something his late partner, Natalie Clark, always encouraged him to pursue.
Back in July, Billy took to his social media accounts to share the tragic news of Natalie’s passing. Both had fallen ill after consuming oysters.
In a response to his initial post, Billy informed his audience that they “both got vibrio vulnificus from raw oysters.”
The Cleveland Clinic provides insight: “Vibrio vulnificus is a type of bacteria that can cause a fatal infection. You get it from eating uncooked or undercooked shellfish or when seawater enters a wound.”
Symptoms of this infection can “come on quickly,” and the bacteria may become “fatal” if not promptly addressed.
Months have passed since Natalie’s untimely demise, and Billy has since announced he has fulfilled a wish of Natalie’s.
In a recent YouTube video, LeBlanc explained that it wasn’t a matter of not wanting to follow her suggestion, but he often found excuses to avoid it.
Following her passing, he decided it was the right moment to honor her wish for him to create a podcast. The video is aptly titled ‘JustBillyLeBlanc Just Podcast 1’.
“And obviously I can’t do a podcast, well, I mean you can do a podcast by yourself, but I was always looking for the person to do a podcast with,” he continues. “So if anybody out there knows how to do a podcast from long distance, I am in Louisiana now so it’d have to be one of those things where we FaceTime each other while we do the podcast so that we can have a good repertoire with each other.”
Natalie had thoughtfully prepared several questions for the podcast, which Billy discovered in a notepad.

He mentioned he won’t “promise” to continue the podcast indefinitely but acknowledges Natalie’s desire for him to do so and will give it a try.
Among the questions Natalie posed were ones about why starting a podcast had been a challenge for him and what drew him to her.
“I think doing a podcast is more entertaining when there’s more than one person,” LeBlanc reflected, noting it’s hard to ‘play off each other,’ before explaining the answer to the latter question Natalie already ‘knows’.
He added that they had many similarities, including humor and interests, and praised her intelligence and wit.
Natalie also inquired about his favorite role and one lesser-known fact about himself.
LeBlanc also shared messages of support he received from his audience, expressing how “grateful” he is for their encouragement during this difficult time.
In closing his first podcast episode, LeBlanc stated: “Just keep celebrating life, I’m trying day by day.”
