Here’s a shout out to this woman! Great response. Attitudes such as this man’s can cause young girls to develop anorexia or bulimia which is extremely dangerous to their health. We need to stop being so shallow and only seeing and judging what we see. “If you can’t say something nice, don’t say anything at all” – Linda Wiedemer Shields

She is my hero, I have been fat all my life and have been bullied by the best and the worst, I too have learned to have a thick skin, however the kids out there need to be taught manners and what is nice and not nice. some times I think adults should take lessons from some of the kids out there that are not bullies. So to any one out there who reads this, if you are bullied, smile and walk away, its only words and you are better for walking away – Debbie Romesburg-Daly

I love how she puts it. I see so many young people and even adults that should know better than to say hurtful things. It seems that some people don’t care if they hurt someone or bully to the point it becomes a serious mental or physical issue for those that are on the receiving end. This news woman did EXACTLY what needed to be done. She stood up for herself and did her civic duty to the community and for those who can’t stand up for themselves, as of yet. Beauty has nothing to do with physical appearances. Beauty is who we are inside, what we stand for, what we exude as we help others and ourselves. To me she is a beautiful person. More people need to do exactly what she did. It would make this world much more beautiful if they did – Tammi Donnelle Case-Van Hoosier
