Selena Gomez and Hailey Bieber have taken the internet by storm after being photographed posing for a photo together at the Academy Museum Gala.
In a snapshot posted on photographer Tyrell Hampton’s Instagram page today, Oct. 17, Hailey and Gomez, Canadian pop singer Justin Bieber’s wife and ex-girlfriend, looked to be attempting to dispel rivalry suspicions between them as they were all smiling while sitting near one other.
Hampton described the shot as a “plot twist.”
Gomez and Hailey were also spotted kissing in a series of photographs re-posted on Twitter by fan account @ghostvoofyou.
This looks to be Gomez and Hailey’s first public meeting since the latter denied stealing Justin from the “Kill Em With Kindness” singer. The American model emphasized that Justin was not in a relationship when they began dating.
Gomez, for her part, attempted to respond to Hailey’s sentiments by calling out “vile and repulsive” fan comments and reminding them that “words count.”
Gomez and Justin were in an on-again, off-again romance for years until calling it quits in 2018. Justin and Hailey married in a civil ceremony the same year, followed by a religious wedding in 2019.
Justin and Hailey announced their relationship in 2016, broke up the following year, and reunited in 2018.
