Zac Efron made a striking appearance at a glamorous film festival, exuding elegance while mingling with fellow celebrities, just a month after an incident that led to his hospitalization.
The amfAR Gala, part of the 81st Venice International Film Festival, attracted numerous stars, including Efron, who stood out in an all-black outfit complete with stylish black sunglasses. This marked his first public outing in some time.

Representatives for Efron revealed that he encountered a ‘minor swimming incident’ on August 2 while staying at a villa in Ibiza.
Though the incident details are somewhat limited, his reps mentioned that he was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
Reports indicate that Efron experienced distress in the water for an unspecified reason and needed assistance from two villa staff members to get out.
A source close to Efron informed PEOPLE that the actor had inhaled water into his lungs after hitting the bottom of the pool during a dive.
The source added that security personnel at the villa pulled Efron from the water after noticing his distress, and he was then taken to the hospital as a precaution due to a brief dazed state.
Further, X-Rays confirmed that there was no water in his lungs. Reinforcing his recovery, Efron posted a photo of himself lifting weights on August 4 with a caption: “Happy and healthy. Thanks for the well wishes.”
This recent incident isn’t the first time Efron has faced hospitalization. Back in 2013, he nearly lost his life in an ordeal that resulted in a broken jaw.
It’s reported that Efron was running through his home wearing socks when he slipped and hit his face on a granite fountain.
The actor had to undergo surgery, requiring his jaw to be wired shut for a period, followed by physical therapy.
Efron has mentioned that this accident altered the shape of his face, as different muscles had to compensate for the injury.
