Sean “Diddy” Combs has resumed activity on social media after facing charges related to sex trafficking and racketeering.
Currently incarcerated at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in Brooklyn, Combs is awaiting trial on charges involving racketeering and sex trafficking through force, fraud, or coercion. The rapper firmly denies all accusations.
Recently, an additional 120 individuals have reportedly accused Combs of sexual misconduct.
The allegations involve both male and female accusers, whose ages ranged from nine to 38 at the time of the alleged incidents.
Attorney Tony Buzbee, representing the accusers, stated at a press conference: “We will expose the enablers who enabled this conduct behind closed doors. We will pursue this matter no matter who the evidence implicates.
“The biggest secret in the entertainment industry, that really wasn’t a secret at all, has finally been revealed to the world. The wall of silence has now been broken.”
In response to these claims, Combs’ lawyer Erica Wolf told UNILAD: “As Mr. Combs’ legal team has emphasised, he cannot address every meritless allegation in what has become a reckless media circus.
“That said, Mr. Combs emphatically and categorically denies as false and defamatory any claim that he sexually abused anyone, including minors.
“He looks forward to proving his innocence and vindicating himself in court, where the truth will be established based on evidence, not speculation.”
Diddy has been denied bail on two occasions as he awaits a trial date.
Despite the ongoing legal battles, Diddy recently shared an Instagram post celebrating his daughter’s birthday.
He wrote: “Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday to you! Happy Birthday baby Love! Happy Birthday to you!! ❤️🫶🏽Happy Birthday @loveseancombs daddy loves you 🎂🎉.”
According to the New York Post, Combs’ first meal in custody included options like Swedish meatballs or a black bean burger, alongside sides like egg noodles, green beans, and a garden salad with dressing.
Concerns have also been raised regarding Diddy’s mental state amidst the legal turmoil.
Marc Agnifilo, part of Diddy’s legal team, discussed the rapper’s mental health in an interview for The Downfall of Diddy: The Indictment, a TMZ documentary covering the recent developments.
Agnifilo commented: “His state of mind is actually remarkably positive. I spend several hours with him every day… His resolve is strong. He’s engaged.
“He’s focused on his defence… he [has] come to terms with the fact that this is where he is for now.”
