Jake Paul Sends Message to Mike Tyson After Speaking Out on Boxing Match Victory

Following his victory over Mike Tyson, Jake Paul took to social media to express his thoughts.

The two boxing icons faced off in Texas on November 15, with the bout extending through all eight rounds. Neither fighter was knocked out, so the judges decided the winner by points, ultimately giving Paul a decisive victory.

Post-fight statistics revealed that Tyson, at 58 years old, only connected 18 punches compared to Paul’s 78 successful hits on the seasoned boxer.

After his win, Paul expressed his gratitude on Twitter, including a message to Tyson.

He posted: “Thank you to every fighter on the card last night, thank u Netflix, thank u Jerry Jones, thank u to my MVP team, thank u to the legend Mike Tyson for giving me a chance to share the ring with him, thank u to my family and close circle of friends..and above all, thank you God.”

In another tweet, Paul challenged MMA star Conor McGregor.

“Dear Conor, I know you told my team you would fight me at 170lbs,” Paul, 27, wrote.

“That’s never happening. But let’s run it in MMA. No weight class. Just like how it used to be done. But you won’t.”

This challenge to McGregor follows criticism over a now-deleted tweet concerning Paul’s fight with Tyson.

McGregor seemed to mock the age difference between Paul and Tyson, as well as Tyson’s long absence from the ring, by suggesting that Prichard Colon might be Paul’s next opponent.

Colon, a 32-year-old former boxer, was left paralyzed after suffering a brain injury in his 2015 fight against Terrel Williams.

Many quickly condemned McGregor’s comments as inappropriate, prompting the tweet’s removal.

In another development, Paul humorously addressed Gervonta Davis, who seemed to challenge him to a fight.

Davis taunted Paul on Instagram, stating: “To that bozo who shared the ring with Mike, you a whole bozo for this and you didn’t get the job done… One more thing, I’ma beat the brakes off Jake when I catch em… Upper cut, jab, jab, left hook, upper cut, hook. Watch.”

Paul retorted by saying Davis is “just angry he’s not tall enough to ride rollercoaster at Disney World.”

“I’m sorry little buddy. I know it’s not fair,” Paul added with a jest.
