Fans were taken by surprise upon noticing a NSFW detail in Justin Bieber’s recent Instagram story.
The Canadian singer has been away from the music scene for four years, indicating a potential break from his music career.
Bieber rose to prominence at a young age and quickly became a teen idol with the success of his debut album, ‘My World 2.0’, in 2010. It made him the youngest solo male artist to top the US Billboard 200 in nearly five decades.
However, in June 2022, the ‘Baby’ singer disclosed to his followers that he was diagnosed with Ramsay Hunt syndrome. This neurological condition results in facial paralysis, hearing loss, dizziness, vocal strain, and vertigo, among other challenging symptoms.
Due to his health issues, Bieber had to cancel most of his 2022 Justice World Tour and delay several other performances, prioritizing his health.
Since then, he has only performed three times: during a surprise appearance at an NHL All-Star event in Toronto, an impromptu set at Coachella, and at a private wedding celebration.
Now, as a father with his wife Hailey Bieber, rumors are swirling that he may return to music soon.
The excitement among fans has surged following Bieber’s Instagram story, which featured two rather daring photos of himself.
Clad only in white Calvin Klein boxers that seemed almost see-through, the images depicted him lounging on a wooden chair resembling a throne, soaking in the winter sun with snow around.
Fans have been buzzing that the ‘thirst trap’ suggests he is ‘really back’.
On Twitter, a fan exclaimed: “Justin just posted these pictures on his IG stories and I’m f***ing not okay.”
Another wrote: “Justin Bieber posting photos in underwear… We are so back.”
A third added: “Justin Bieber is back in his thirst trap era”, followed by “WE WON”.
Although there is no official word on when or if the ‘Sorry’ singer will return, sources suggest Bieber needs more income to sustain his opulent lifestyle.
In January 2023, the celebrity sold his song catalog to Hipgnosis Songs Capital for a reported $200 million, meaning he no longer receives royalties on any tracks released or of interest before December 31, 2021, as reported by The Daily Mail.
Additionally, Bieber reportedly faced a hefty tax bill of $380,000 for his $16.6 million California property, according to the Economic Times.
In October, TMZ reported that Bieber was ‘very upset’ with how his financial team managed his wealth and was allegedly contemplating legal action against his former managers due to significant financial losses.
Matthew Belloni hinted in his What I’m Hearing newsletter that Bieber ‘goes back to work’ in his 2025 Hollywood predictions.
He added: “I’m told Bieber needs the money and wants to work.”
Furthermore, earlier this week, Bieber seemed to share a video on his Instagram story hinting at a new song, accompanied by two cryptic emojis of a film projector and a pen writing.
