Tyra Banks recently revealed a habit that many might find unsettling as she discussed a ‘disgusting and erotic’ tendency she faces difficulty resisting.
In recent days, Banks has been quite open about some of her less clean habits, beginning with the confession earlier this week that she consumes days-old crumbs from her bed after snacking and watching TV with her mother, Carolyn London.
This initial revelation was made during her July 28 appearance on Today with Jenna & Friends, where she admitted to being a ‘messy eater’ and elaborated: “I clean crumbs by eating them, because if you put it in the trash, I’m like, ‘You might get roaches or something.’ So just clean it up with your finger and eat it.”
Social media users were quick to note that this was something they ‘definitely didn’t need to know’, but Banks returned to overshare again during a new episode of the show on July 31.
Co-host Jenna Bush Hager mentioned how the ‘crumbs’ comment ‘really got some pickup’, and Banks acknowledged this before stating once more, “I’m about to disgust you.”
She then went on to disclose a few other habits she has. If you’re eating at the moment, it might be best to pause.
After admitting her fondness for clipping people’s toenails, Banks said she was gaining a ‘reputation’ for being a ‘gross person’.
She elaborated: “I like to pick. I like the toe. And if it has some stuff in it, I don’t mind digging it out. But I have a kit. You have to have a kit. So you have to have, like, some alcohol or some, you know, some stuff.”
The model stated she would be happy to attend to the toenails of ‘my mom, my friends, my man, my son’, then added: “And then a pimple. Like, if you had a pimple, it would be staring at me the whole time time.”
Bush Hager inquired: “What would be your mental track? What would be going on in the brain?”
Banks replied: “I want it so bad. Like, I just love it.”
When questioned if she’d watched shows like Dr. Pimple Popper, Banks admitted she tries to limit herself where possible – even though resisting can be tough.
“I don’t watch it too much because it maybe, like an addiction,” she said. “It’s disgusting and erotic at the same time. It touches those parts of you.”
