A mother’s behavior on a plane has sparked widespread criticism online after a video surfaced showing her allegedly blocking other passengers from exiting an aircraft that was already three hours behind schedule.
The incident took place on a Frontier Airlines flight that had just arrived in Baltimore, Maryland. Passengers were lined up in the aisle, ready to leave the plane.
While those at the front of the aircraft disembarked without issue, this woman remained stationary for a rather strange reason.
The video captures her standing firmly in the aisle, preventing many weary travelers from leaving the plane.
Witnesses claim she refused to exit until her daughter, who was seated near the back, joined her at the front.
Customarily, passengers seated closest to the exit disembark first, though not everyone adheres to this unwritten rule. Once the seatbelt sign is off, those in the aisle typically stand to stretch and collect their belongings from the overhead compartments.
With passengers and luggage blocking the aisle, movement becomes even more restricted.
Frustrated, a passenger confronted her, asking, “What is wrong with you?
“I would hate to be your daughter and have to go home with you, no wonder she’s back there.”
Not taking this criticism lightly, the woman retorted: “Be careful. Don’t say s*** to me.”
Tensions rose as more passengers, trapped behind her, began to voice their irritation.
Turning to a flight attendant, she explained: “They won’t let my daughter pass and I’m not getting off without her.”
The crew member calmly advised her to step aside and wait for her daughter, a solution that seems quite straightforward.
However, she wasn’t satisfied and questioned: “Why they can’t let her come pass?”
Fellow passengers quickly pointed out that allowing her daughter to move forward would delay everyone even more.
One passenger sarcastically remarked: “You haven’t been on this plane long enough, lady?”
The situation intensified when the woman responded angrily: “Mind your motherf***ing business, b****!”
The irritated passenger replied: “This is my business, I want to get off the plane!”
Finally, the flight attendant managed to persuade her to move into an empty row, allowing others to pass by.
As people squeezed past her, she shouted: “F*** y’all!”
