Recently, Tesla’s board approved a trillion-dollar compensation package for Musk, serving as an incentive for him to achieve the company’s expansion goals. This move may position Musk to potentially become the first individual with a net worth reaching 13 figures.
Accumulating more wealth than anyone in recorded history raises questions about the philanthropic actions that might accompany such fortune.
This sentiment was echoed by Billie Eilish, who highlighted a graphic from MyVoiceMyChoice. The image illustrated how a minor portion of Musk’s 13-figure compensation could significantly address some of the world’s gravest issues.
Eilish, who reportedly has a net worth of approximately $53 million, previously expressed her views on billionaires at the Wall Street Journal’s 2025 Innovator Awards.
While speaking to an audience that included Mark Zuckerberg, worth about $203 billion, she remarked, “I love you all, but there’s a few people in here that have a lot more money than me and if you’re a billionaire, why are you a billionaire?
“Give your money away, shorties.”
Demonstrating her commitment to her values, Eilish allocated $11.5 million from her recent tour earnings to address the climate crisis and food scarcity.
Now, she targets Musk, describing him as a ‘f**king pathetic p**sy b***h coward’.
Her Instagram story included a graphic illustrating how Musk, CEO of Tesla and X, could eliminate world hunger by contributing $40 billion yearly over the next decade, or by investing $140 billion over seven years to ensure global access to clean water.
If addressing hunger isn’t on Musk’s agenda, he could potentially eradicate diseases such as polio, tetanus, and measles through a $10 billion annual program to vaccinate 140 million infants each year.
Alternatively, Musk could focus on environmental conservation, spending $2 billion annually to move 10,443 critically endangered species to the endangered category.
In a concluding post on her story, Eilish showed that Musk’s considerable earnings could be used to restore regions impacted by conflict, such as rebuilding Gaza and the West Bank for over $53 billion.
Meanwhile, his resources could also facilitate the reconstruction of Ukraine and Syria for a staggering $793 billion, all while maintaining his status as one of the world’s wealthiest individuals.
Although Musk has historically donated billions to various causes and manages the Musk Foundation, a New York Times report in 2024 revealed that the foundation failed to meet its obligation to distribute five percent of its assets annually for three consecutive years.
