JoJo Siwa has provided an update following the revelation of her AI-generated ‘family’ with her boyfriend, Chris Hughes, and it’s quite an intriguing development.
Siwa, 22, and Hughes, 33, have been practically inseparable since their participation on Celebrity Big Brother in 2025.
Initially insisting on maintaining a ‘platonic’ friendship amid speculation of a romantic connection, the duo eventually admitted they were indeed in a relationship.
In the months following their public confirmation, there haven’t been many updates about the couple, apart from some remarks on the challenges of long-distance relationships. Last year, however, Siwa expressed her desire to get married someday.
This announcement was accompanied by an AI-generated image of Siwa in a bridal gown, shared via Snapchat.
“Call me a wife!!!” she captioned the image.
Recently, she utilized AI once more, this time to envision a ‘family’ portrait featuring herself, Hughes, and two hypothetical children.
The image, shared on TikTok, depicts the couple in coordinated blue and white outfits, flanked by their AI-generated ‘children’.
“My heart wasn’t ready for this,” she mentioned in the caption.
The reactions were mixed; one person commented: “An artist as big as Jojo Siwa using ai to generate a family is so insane.”
Another added: “Using ai for this is weird as hell and everyone defending it makes me lose hope in humanity.”
However, there were also positive reactions, with someone exclaiming: “WAITTT stop it’s so cute.”
And a supportive fan remarked: “Awwww rooting for you two.”
All these hints indicate Siwa is indeed contemplating her future with the Love Island alum.
In a conversation with E! News The Rundown’s Erin Lim Rhodes, Siwa shared that her thoughts were influenced by a discussion with a friend.
The Dance Moms alum recounted: “Meghan Trainor once told me, she said, ‘You will know you love somebody when you love them so much you want to duplicate them and you want to pop a baby out that is made from them.'”
Siwa continued: “One of the first things that I said to her after I started dating Chris, I was like, ‘I get what you’re saying now.’ I love [Chris] so much. I need there to be a mini [Chris].'”
The 22-year-old expressed that her emotions have been quite intense, adding: “He sent me a baby photo of him the other day. It’s like him in a trash can.
“It’s really cute. And I was like, ‘Uh oh.'”
Nonetheless, Siwa clarified that plans to start a family aren’t immediate.
“He definitely knows it’s out there,” she said. “A couple of days went by and I was like, ‘Babe, why don’t you ever talk to me or say anything about this?'”
It turned out there was a misunderstanding, as Hughes had discussed the topic with a friend named Jack, thinking he had already addressed it with Siwa.
