Nicki Minaj is under fire again after posting an unusual photo of herself with Donald Trump on Twitter.
Minaj has been receiving a significant amount of backlash due to her association with Donald Trump, 79, and her continuous support for the former president, who remains a polarizing figure.
She recently appeared on Katie Miller’s podcast, where she discussed her reasons for backing Trump.
“Religious freedom is something that’s very important to me,” the 43-year-old explained when questioned about her support for Trump.
“But if I’m being honest, President Trump, because when I saw how he was being treated over and over and over, I just couldn’t handle it.”
The rapper mentioned that she empathizes with the ‘bullying’ Trump has endured.

It seems that Trump and Minaj have formed an unlikely partnership, as the former president recently invited her on stage during an event where she praised him.
Minaj has also expressed similar views on social media, and in her latest display of support, she posted a peculiar AI-generated image of them on Twitter.
In the altered image, an AI rendition of Minaj appears to be taking a selfie in a car with Trump, who is giving an ‘OK’ gesture to the camera. Both are dressed in pink outfits.
“Happy #PresidentsDay,” Minaj captioned the unusual photo.
The AI-generated image has sparked mixed reactions online; while some found it amusing, others considered it odd.
“Girl, this is corny, even for you. Use a real photo,” one person commented. Another described the image as ‘cringe’.
“This is just tacky,” said someone else.
Another user queried: “You actually met the man, why didn’t you just use a picture of you two then instead of AI?” To which someone replied: “Because neither of them looks like that.”
Some individuals, however, were not offended by the image.

“Is this picture real? Looks amazing anyways,” said a Twitter user.
“Although this is an AI-generated photo, it looks nice,” another person commented.
A third person added: “Let’s go Nicki and President Trump.”
Minaj, originally from Trinidad and Tobago, is in the process of becoming a U.S. citizen.
She is reportedly a legal immigrant in the United States, having moved there as a child.
In a recent update, Minaj shared online: “Finalizing that citizenship paperwork as we speak as per MY wonderful, gracious, charming President.”
