Katy Perry Appears to Throw Shade at Exes Orlando Bloom and John Mayer During Festival Set

Katy Perry appeared to allude to Orlando Bloom and other exes during a recent festival set.

The singer performed at O Son do Camiño in Santiago de Compostela on Thursday, June 19, and a clip from the show quickly spread across social media.

Perry and Bloom began dating in 2016, later got engaged, and share a daughter, Daisy Dove.

The couple confirmed their split in June 2025 after nearly nine years together, saying their focus remained on co-parenting their child.

Since then, Perry has been linked to former Canadian prime minister Justin Trudeau. The pair were first rumored to be dating in mid-2025, went Instagram official in December 2025, and made their red carpet debut together at the Tribeca Festival in June 2026.

Her latest performance appeared to include a nod to both past and present relationships.

During her performance of the 2020 track Never Really Over, a giant phone prop appeared on stage and displayed incoming calls.

The names shown were represented by the initials of former partners, including ‘JM’ for John Mayer, ‘RB’ for Russell Brand, and ‘OB’ for Orlando Bloom.

Perry appeared to dismiss each of those ‘calls’, only picking up when the screen showed ‘JPJT’ — the initials of Justin Pierre James Trudeau, her current partner.

Following her split from Bloom, who also shares a son with ex-wife Miranda Kerr, Perry has continued to co-parent their daughter with him.

Speculation surrounding Perry and Trudeau first surfaced in July 2025, and the pair later made their relationship public after Perry posted photos of them together on Instagram during a trip to Japan in December 2025.

In 2026, they made their first red carpet appearance as a couple at the Tribeca Festival in New York City.

Trudeau also drew attention recently after skipping Canada’s opening World Cup match so he could attend the U.S. opening ceremony, where Perry performed before the match at SoFi Stadium.

The former prime minister said his decision was down to “boyfriend duties.”

Perry’s World Cup performance came during a busy stretch for the singer, who has been promoting her current tour across Europe this month.
