Blake Lively stepped out in New York City with Ryan Reynolds and her sister Robyn Lively two nights after a judge slashed her fee award against Justin Baldoni.
The “Gossip Girl” alum, 37, wore brown overalls over a black tank top with loafers and gold jewelry for the Friday evening stroll through Manhattan. Reynolds, 49, chose a gray sweater, black pants and a newsboy cap, while Robyn, 54, went double denim.
The family outing came on the heels of a stinging financial ruling in Lively’s legal battle with her “It Ends With Us” co-star. A judge on Wednesday granted her just $363,245.40 in attorneys’ fees and $44,206.35 in costs — a fraction of the roughly $8 million she had requested.
Lively’s attorneys had sought $7,495,526.87 in fees plus $539,514.01 in litigation expenses. The judge called the total demand “outrageously unreasonable.”
Esra Hudson and Michael Gottlieb, Lively’s lawyers, shared a statement insisting the “case was never about money – it was about accountability.”
Baldoni’s attorney Bryan Freedman fired back with his own take on the ruling. “The ruling is a significant victory for my clients and sends a clear message that, no matter how powerful you may be, the courtroom is not a place to take advantage of the law for your own personal gain,” he said.
Robyn Lively has been vocal in her support of her sister since the legal fight began. When Blake initially filed a complaint against Baldoni in December 2024 accusing him of sexual harassment — claims she later echoed in a lawsuit — Robyn applauded the move on Instagram.
“FINALLY justice for my sister @blakelively,” she wrote.
She shared a similar sentiment when Baldoni’s countersuit was tossed by a judge in 2025, gushing, “No one knows you quite like I do, and man am I ever proud of you.”
Reynolds, who married Blake in 2012 and shares four children with her, has also publicly backed his wife. During an April “Sunday Sitdown” interview, he told viewers he has “never been more proud” of his partner.
Baldoni, 42, has denied Lively’s allegations throughout the dispute. He addressed the drama publicly for the first time in a July Instagram video alongside his wife Emily Baldoni.
“There have been so many painful things spoken into existence over the last couple of years,” the “Jane the Virgin” alum told his followers. “That created so much noise, and we didn’t want to add to the noise,” he continued. “So we just wanted to let the justice system run its course.”
His 42-year-old spouse added, “And the truth and facts have spoken for themselves, and here we are.”
The former co-stars had been scheduled to face trial in May after 10 of Blake’s 13 claims were thrown out, but they reached a settlement two weeks before the court date. Neither party received any money in that agreement.
Lively and Baldoni starred together in “It Ends With Us,” the film adaptation of Colleen Hoover’s bestselling novel that Baldoni also directed. What began as a promotional partnership deteriorated into one of Hollywood’s most contentious legal battles, with Lively alleging sexual harassment and a smear campaign, and Baldoni countersuing for defamation before that claim was dismissed.
Baldoni is next scheduled to appear at a speaking engagement in Dallas.
