Ariana Madix’s Los Angeles home was burglarized last week while the reality star was away in New York City.
The “Vanderpump Rules” alum, 41, had her back door shattered during the Oct. 17 break-in, the Los Angeles Police Department confirmed Friday. Officers responded to a call about the burglary Tuesday afternoon and discovered the forced entry at the residence.
Jewelry was among the items stolen, though the total value of the missing pieces has not been disclosed. Police have not identified any suspects, and no suspect description was available as of Friday.
It remains unclear whether Madix was present during the break-in. The reality star has been spending time in New York City, where she relocated for her hosting duties and other professional commitments.
Madix purchased the $1.6 million home in 2024 following her explosive split from longtime boyfriend and former co-star Tom Sandoval. “Ariana has fallen in love with this home and is excited for a new chapter,” a source exclusively said at the time of the purchase.
The former couple’s breakup dominated headlines in March 2023 after Sandoval’s months-long affair with their co-star Rachel “Raquel” Leviss was exposed. The scandal, which unfolded during filming for the Bravo series, became known as “Scandoval” and led to Leviss leaving the show and entering a mental health facility.
Since the split, Madix has rebuilt her personal and professional life. She began dating fitness trainer Daniel Wai and has expanded her television portfolio beyond the Bravo universe.
Her role as host of “Love Island USA” on Peacock marked a significant career evolution, taking her from ensemble reality cast member to solo presenter. The gig has kept her traveling between coasts, with New York serving as a base for production.
The burglary comes during a period of transition for the former SUR waitress, who had publicly embraced her new property as a symbol of fresh beginnings. The home represented both financial independence and emotional distance from the West Hollywood restaurant scene where much of her previous relationship played out on camera.
Madix has not publicly addressed the break-in on her social media platforms as of Friday. A representative for the star did not immediately respond to the outlet’s request for comment regarding the incident or whether additional security measures have been implemented at the property.
The LAPD investigation remains active, with detectives continuing to pursue leads in the case.
