Taylor Swift swapped her designer bridal heels for sneakers during her wedding reception to Travis Kelce.
The 36-year-old Grammy winner slipped into the casual footwear after exchanging vows with the Kansas City Chiefs tight end, 37, at Madison Square Garden in New York City on July 3, a source exclusively said. “Taylor changed dresses between the ceremony and reception. She wore sneakers during part of the reception and wore her hair down,” the insider said.

Swift’s ceremony look featured a custom Christian Dior Haute Couture gown designed by Jonathan Anderson, paired with personalized Christian Louboutin shoes and Cartier jewelry. The footwear switch came as she moved into the party phase of the evening, which drew more than 1,000 guests to the transformed arena.

The insider noted that Swift prioritized personal connections despite the massive crowd. “Despite the number of people, she really made a point of greeting guests throughout the celebration and made everybody feel so welcome,” the source shared.

The wedding setup included a castle backdrop for the vows and multiple rooms with games and prizes for attendees. Carnival-style entertainment and food stations rounded out the festivities. At approximately 7:30 p.m., the Garden’s exterior displayed pink digital screens reading “JUST&T MARRIED!”

Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony. Swift’s brother, Austin, served as her man of honor, while Kelce’s brother, Jason, stood as best man.

Kelce later called the wedding the “best night of my life,” telling reporters in August that he was grateful to everyone who attended. The couple’s engagement announcement came in August 2025 after nearly two years of dating, via a playful Instagram post that read, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” capped with a dynamite emoji nodding to their “TNT” nickname.
Their relationship first became public in September 2023 when Swift was spotted cheering Kelce on at a Chiefs game.

Since the wedding, the newlyweds have been adjusting to married life while managing demanding careers. “Taylor and Travis spent so much time together in the months leading up to the wedding, and they were pretty much inseparable,” a source said. “Now they’re settling into this new rhythm as a married couple and really enjoying what that feels like.”

The couple plans to split time between multiple properties rather than settling in one location. Kelce’s Kansas home serves as their primary residence during football season, with travel dictated by their respective schedules.
