Brooke Froelich, Morgan Brechler, and Shannon Robertson weren’t about to give up their wild side just because they had children. Instead, the kids are getting the childhood of a lifetime on incredible adventures with their mothers.
So far, the three moms have taken 11-month-old Huck, 4-year-old Hadlie, 3-year-old Bodhi, and 1-year-old Skye, climbing, camping and hiking.
They say the kids absolutely love the trips and also get to spend quality time with their moms.
Shannon told the Daily Mail, “The kids absolutely love it. It’s a place with no interference from technology. They don’t have to fight for my attention against a cell phone or a computer.”
Morgan also thinks it’s an awesome way to raise her kids to be in touch with nature.
“I want Hadlie to appreciate life and I don’t think there’s any better way for her to learn, grow and have gratitude, than to be friends with Mother Earth,” she says.
The trio of explorers also enjoy having female friends to adventure with.
“As a mother, especially a single mother, it’s so important to have bonds with other mothers. It’s a sisterhood where we share stories, experiences, and know that we’re not alone,” says Shannon.
They’re already planning their next trip to Hawaii to hike up volcanoes, camp on the beach and splash around in waterfalls.
Morgan added, “I love that we are creating all these memories of traveling, camping, climbing, and just being outside together.”
The moms are the subject of upcoming film “Born Wild,” looking at their adventurous way of raising kids.
We’re only the tiniest bit jealous…
