Explanation of Bianca Censori’s Grammy Outfit as Kanye West Reacts to Criticism

Celebrities frequently use the red carpet to express personal messages or stances through their fashion choices, and Bianca Censori’s daring Grammys ensemble was no exception.

From paying tribute to a legendary figure to showcasing a significant piece from a renowned jeweler, celebrities have unique ways of conveying messages through their attire at high-profile events.

With Censori’s Grammys dress on Sunday (February 2), however, discerning any explicit message might have been challenging, primarily because the outfit was minimalistic.

As she removed her black fur coat, the 30-year-old left onlookers in awe with her revealing mesh dress, sparking some viewers’ concerns that her bold choice could have legal repercussions.

Nevertheless, even the simplest of outfits can carry significance. In Censori’s situation, the absence of substantial clothing was intentional and meaningful.

The reasoning behind her attire was shared by a source familiar with Censori’s husband, Kanye West. They spoke to The Sun amidst rumors about the couple’s alleged expulsion from the Grammys—claims that West has denied.

The source revealed, “Ye always planned to do the red carpet and leave – he’d never sit through the Grammys because it’s so dull and boring.”

Regarding the dress, they added, “People have called this a stunt but to Ye this is his art.”

“He turned up, made headlines around the world and left. No one told him what to do and even if they had, he wouldn’t have listened,” they concluded.

While not all responses to their red carpet appearance were favorable, those close to the couple insist Censori enjoyed herself and was in high spirits at the event.

Describing Censori as a ‘muse’ for West, the source emphasized, “There’s no coercion involved. This is what Ye does, he makes a statement and the whole world talks about it.”

An insider noted that after leaving the Grammys and attending an after-party hosted by Justin LaBoy, Censori expressed how much she enjoyed the event, and West seemed pleased.

In a since-deleted online post, West addressed the rumors of their ejection from the Grammys.

He blamed former CNN journalist Don Lemon for spreading the false rumor, writing, “This the goofball that started the rumor that me and my wife got kicked out the Grammies 3 decades of innovating music and they always K***S like this.”

Lemon later responded, clarifying that he did not originate the rumor about West and Censori, and stated he had actually corrected it.
