A California family discovered an Oscar winner lurking in the background of their toddler’s Disneyland video only after they got home.
Loryn Powell and Shawn Casey took their daughter Quinn to the Anaheim theme park for a character meet-and-greet last week, and the parents were so focused on filming the two-year-old’s hug with Goofy that they completely missed Matt Damon, 54, standing feet behind them in a baseball cap. The family only spotted the “Good Will Hunting” star when they reviewed the footage later.
“I had no clue (he was there),” Powell admitted in comments about the viral clip. “I was too busy explaining to my toddler that she had to wait to meet Goofy and then she just put her arms out and I guess they can’t say no to a hug!”
Damon was at the park with his wife, Luciana Barroso, and their family to celebrate their daughter Isabella’s 18th birthday.
